Port Isabel, Texas
is serviced by the Laguna Madre Water District. This coastal community is located on the Laguna Madre Bay. It is known for its fine sports fishing, shrimping, excellent local restaurants and a high quality of life.
The community features unique historical buildings and museums, a library, and several parks. Port Isabel is home to the smallest state park in Texas where the historic Point Isabel light house is still open for visitors.
The population of Port Isabel is 4,865. It has just over 2,000 housing units.
